Wonderful sunny, warm quiet studio. Immaculately clean. Great little kitchenette for simple cooking. Comfortable bed. Less than 5 min walk into shops/cafes. Would definitely stay again.

Firstly, upon initial enquiry we appreciated the professional & friendly manner of the receptionist. The accommodation was excellent in all respects, and we enjoyed the experience. However, the change of level from pathway to parking area is hazardous which we both found out the ‘hard way! Perhaps this should be more clearly defined. We look forward to visiting again in the future

Loved our stay, remarkably quiet considering our bedroom faced the main road. Only one thing that could be improved is to have a hook or something to hang the tea towel on after drying the dishes. Hook in the bathroom is awesome thank you. Motel is extremely clean with lots of space, bed very comfortable. Suzanne

Everything expected in a first class motel. We would recommend asking for a unit furthest from the nearby main road – although the double glazing provides effective ‘sound proofing when east facing windows are closed. K&J

The nicest motel I have stayed in on my travels. My room was beautiful and clean, awesome shower. Also I couldn’t get dinner in town but they have a delicious selection of ready made frozen meals that you can just microwave in your room. Highly recommend.

The easiest check in I have ever done, and it was absolutely amazing after a long drive with young kids. Our room was beautiful and clean, awesome shower. Having a Netflix account already logged in was a big plus for us! Aircon was also great! Highly recommend

An exceptional motel, almost brand new and so beautifully appointed. Full kitchen with everything you could need, lovely decor. Comfortable beds and aircon in the main room. We had 3 children with us so chose the family room – 2 bedrooms 1 with 3 single , other with lovely big king. The description doesn’t do the place justice! Murchison itself was quiet on the day we were there for anything to eat out at so I suggest you take own food to cook.

What a pleasure to stay in a spacious, comfortable, clean and well-appointed motel. Not to mention the large shower with a strong jet of water. Much needed after a day out on our gravel bikes. Will definitely return. Also of note, we arrived much earlier than check in but our rooms were ready, so we were able to get changed into cycling gear in privacy, not beside our car. It’s the small things that make all the difference.

Lovely for our nights stay over on way to Golden bay. Beautiful tidy rooms, friendly service. Kids loved it and very spoilt with Netflix and air conditioning. Would absolutely stay again.

You couldn’t find a cleaner, more comfortable, better appointed place to stay anywhere! The only disappointment was that we were only there for the night. There seriously wasn’t a speck of dust, a mark on anything. Comfy beds, quiet room and welcoming staff. If we’re ever back in the area, we’ll be back.

Highly recommend a stay at Grand Suites, Murchison. The rooms are beautiful, really clean and the staff are super helpful and friendly. Great facilities, owners were lovely. The bed was comfortable and heating in the rooms was great so nice and snug, very clean and loved the bathroom, plenty of kitchen space and all the basics you need. Really impressed 😊 the whole room was perfect.
